Busy year

squeaky-coat2.jpgWell, it’s been a very busy year and we’re only into the second week! I have been filling lots of stamp orders but still have quite a few to go. While out in the garage I did a little cleaning and organizing of some supplies – gosh that feels good (note to self – remember this feeling).

Also while at the quilt shop we got in some cute doggie fabric – Squeaky is showing it off here. I haven’t had time to make a quilt of just dog fabric yet, but I was able to make this little jacket. I hope you don’t get sick of hearing about my pets, but they bring so much happiness I just can’t help it.

Otherwise, I was thrilled to be able to pick a new design team for my stamp business. I can’t wait to see what they create! It’s always a thrill because in the past they’ve come up with wonderful things! I think one of the goals this year is to figure out how to let people post projects that are sparked from the ideas of the design team or just ideas they have themselves. I’d like to have a much more interactive site, but am not totally sure how to do that yet. Any thoughts from you out there?

On another note, I can’t remember if I mentioned it before, but I teamed up with author Terri Thayer again. This time we’re doing a block-of-the-month quilt! It’s adorable to say the least (but then I might be a wee bit biased). The details will follow in a couple weeks. So stay tuned!!

Toodles for now.

Hey Holly, that would be so awesome if you figured out how to let people post what they made based on the inspiration from your design team. Kind of like Tim Holtz does for his Christmas Tags. So cool!

By the way, I love hearing about your pets!
